Article: You are Leading

At my ballroom socials, the women often ask me,
"What are we doing?", meaning what kind of dance
are we going to do.

Usually I say, "I don't know. All I know is I am
leading and you are following."

Recently I stopped by a Brazilian Dance class to
hand out flyers. The class was almost over and they
were starting their cool down exercises.

The teacher invited me to join in.

She put on some sizzling Samba music and we did some
hot steps in place, Samba'd in and out, shook our stuff
as we circled around the room and then she told everyone
to partner up.

I ended up with the teacher.

The music was playing and there she was in my arms,
so I asked her, "What are we doing?".

She said, "I don't know. You're leading."
